About the product
SORIO duo draws on visual motifs from Latin American folk design. The all-caps sans serif is chunky and naive, echoing hand-painted signage, cattle tags, and festival banners. It's got two character styles, multilingual support, and an extended set of symbols.
The script, by contrast, softens into a more ornamental beat — like a sun-faded postcard or vintage tequila label. It supports an extended Latin character set, with uppercase, lowercase, numerals, punctuation, and symbols, e.g., fractions, currencies, and more.
The accompanying icon set (78 elements in AI, SVG, and PNG) deepens the reference pool: stylized agave plants, adobe facades, jagged mountains, sun glyphs, and figures rooted in Mesoamerican symbology. These aren't literal reproductions, though — more like loose, affectionate nods to regional visual language.
Perfect for mezcal labels, illustrated travel guides, music flyers, cultural event branding, rustic packaging, artisanal goods, and desert-themed editorial layouts.
