Jolicia Type
Jolicia Type
Jolicia Type is a small foundry in Yogyakarta. In their words: "We are just a small team, organized and living a happy life." The catalog speaks on their behalf, splitting between the solid embodiments of clean order and pure joy. On one end, the JT-prefixed comprehensive families. On the other, character names like Pork Belly, Padle Candy, and Hella Punk, a parade of styles, penmanships, and nerve. This month’s drop is all second half.

Six fonts, six traditions. November makes the case for range over house style. Jolicia Type sends a disciplined copperplate, a Spencerian script with loops twice the width of the word, a blackletter grafted onto a condensed sans, a display drawn like molded plastic. Underneath, each one holds a full character set, drawn diacritics, and up to nine stylistic sets per face.
