Borel — Free School Cursive Font

Borel is a French primary-school hand set in type: monolinear strokes, rounded curves, and letters kept deliberately open so each one stays distinct from the next. Rosalie Wagner developed it at the ANRT in Nancy together with teachers and speech therapists, and named it after Suzanne Borel-Maisonny, a pioneer of speech therapy in France. The lowercase letters connect as cursive while the capitals remain upright and Roman, which is how French classrooms actually teach writing.

It works for worksheets, school materials, children's book covers, nursery branding, greeting cards, kids' product packaging, educational apps, craft printables, and social media graphics.
