Takoma - Bold Retro Display Font

Takoma is a bold retro display font with soft, rounded serifs and fat, droplet-like letterforms, closer to a seventies diner menu than a classic text serif. It comes in a single heavy weight, drawn with a separate set of capitals and lowercase. Eight ligatures join K and R with a following vowel (Ko, Ka, Ku, Ke, Ro, Ra, Ru, Re) in one connected shape with a long looping tail, available through the glyph panel.

Use it for food branding, logotypes, packaging, menus, posters, headlines, and social media graphics that want a warm, retro feel.

Features:

• Uppercase & lowercase;
• Numerals, punctuation & symbols;
• Single bold weight;
• 8 ligatures;
• Western European language support.
