Photocopy Scan Effect

The effect strips photos down to blown-out highlights and crushed blacks, the way a low-toner photocopier renders a scanned image. Heavy grain replaces smooth gradients and detail survives only in the strongest tonal shifts, everything else flattening into pure black or pure white. The objects still read clearly through the noise, but stripped of any soft midtone.

Usage: album covers, gig posters, streetwear graphics, editorial spreads, zine layouts, and any portrait or photo that needs a raw, xeroxed quality
