Retro Comic Print Effect

This retro print effect runs an illustration or photo through a coarse halftone screen, layering saturated newsprint grain, a paper tooth, and a slight ink misregistration over the artwork. It works like a cheap comic-book run pulled on pulpy stock, where the plates landed a touch off, and the dots show through.
