Grain Distort Effect

About the product

Heavy film grain floods a photograph and drags it toward a worn, run-through-the-copier look. Highlights blow out to dusty white, shadows clog with grime, and the color fades to a cold, desaturated cast with only the warm skin tones left breathing through. The distortion rolls the surface a little, so straight edges ripple and the whole frame is closer to a third-generation scan than a fresh photograph.

Usage: album and single covers, grunge and lo-fi posters, fashion editorials, zine and book layouts, band merch graphics, exhibition and event promos, moody title cards, and experimental social sets. The effect works richest on portraits and textured clothing, where the grain and the drag have real detail to chew on.
