Cardboard Halftone Photo Effect

About the product

This halftone treatment prints an image onto a corrugated cardboard surface, breaking the tones into a coarse dot screen over visible paper grain and vertical press striations. The dot screen looks like a photo run through a thrift-store comic printer, with ink sitting slightly off-register on the rough stock. A smart object handles the swap, with full-color and black-and-white versions in landscape and portrait frames.

Usage: album covers, gig posters, zine spreads, editorial illustration, streetwear graphics, sticker art, music video stills, and indie comic panels.
