Gloria Rocha is an elegant serif font with the proportions and stroke contrast of mid-century fashion typography — tall x-height, high contrast between thick and thin strokes, and serifs that taper to a fine point without losing weight at the join. The italic leans into the same register: it reads as a calligraphic companion to the Roman rather than a mechanical slant, with slightly more curve in the lowercase.
