Scoth Brace is an elegant serif font with the kind of contrast that sits closer to Didot-era display cutting than to a contemporary workhorse serif — thin strokes pulled to near-hairline weight against broad, deeply curved thick strokes, with ball terminals that give the lowercase a rounded warmth. The ligature set is the typographic centrepiece: common digraphs, s-combinations, and double-letter joins all resolve into single connected units that tighten the spacing and give typeset words a hand-drawn fluidity without touching a script register.
