About the product
Besquen keeps the vertical pull and diamond finials of a blackletter font but trades the jagged spurs for smooth, curved strokes, so the gothic weight reads clean instead of cramped. High contrast between thick stems and hairline curves gives the caps a formal, almost engraved presence, closer to a cathedral inscription than a metal-band logo.
The uppercase carries most of the drama, while the lowercase settles into a steadier rhythm for longer set lines, so headline and supporting text stay in the same voice. Use it for wine and spirits labels, luxury branding, book covers, tattoo studio signage, and editorial mastheads.
