GC Kohlen keeps a tall, narrow cap-height and clean geometric skeleton, with uniform stroke weight instead of dramatic contrast — a condensed display built to hold visual weight in tight spaces without losing legibility. The structure stays consistent across eight weights, from a hairline-thin cut up to a solid Bold, so the same tall proportions carry through the whole range.

Standard and discretionary ligatures smooth out select letter pairs, and a stylistic alternate set swaps in a different letterform for headlines that need a bit more character.
