Florent Font Family

Florent grew out of the letterpress job shop, where a single printer produced hotel luggage labels, insurance certificates, admission stubs, and beer wrappers from the same cases of wood and metal type. The text styles are based on a geometric skeleton, with tiny wedge serifs pinned to blunt terminals. That construction descends from Copperplate Gothic and its engraved stationery lettering, though Florent adds a full lowercase and matching italics.

Cahya Sofyan split the release into two models. Display Text handles subheads, decks, and long label copy; the Display Faces are drawn for logotypes, signage, and headlines that occupy the top of a poster. Extras fill in the small parts: a Symbol font with math and Greek characters, Words Graphics catchwords for the connecting words on a badge, and a vector pack of fruit icons, mystical illustrations, and editable badge frames.

Usage: packaging, labels, branding, logos, poster and ticket design, editorial layouts, travel and hospitality graphics.
