About the product
Aigo Mono takes its rhythm from classic monospace and serif typefaces: a fixed-width grid underneath every glyph, bracketed serif terminals, calm stroke contrast. That combination keeps the structure from reading mechanical. Six weights move from a light, quiet cut through a dense Extra Bold, all built on the same cell so proportions hold steady as the weight grows heavier. A variable font file carries the entire 300–800 range in one place, including the step up to Extra Bold.
Alternate forms on select uppercase and lowercase characters add personality. The core structure stays legible enough for long-form and interface text. It reads best where that quiet, grid-built rhythm matters most: technical documentation, interface type, and systems-driven identity work. Use it for UI labels, spec sheets, data tables, terminal-inspired branding, and editorial captions.
