Berrie Typeface

About the product

Berrie is a Y2K font built as one oblique run of chunky capitals, with squared counters, rounded outer corners, and a forward lean steep enough to read as speed. The sidebearings are minimal, and the joins are fat, so short words compact into a single badge-shaped block. This is the lettering of mall-brand logos, burned CD covers, and early-2000s console packaging.

The Outlined style is a companion layer, not a separate design. Set the same word twice, put Outlined underneath, and the shape picks up a clean offset border — the sticker-and-patch construction that the era ran on.

Practical uses:

  • Branding and logos — beauty brands, energy drinks, streetwear labels, club nights, gaming teams.
  • Merchandise — stickers, patches, tees, phone cases, tote bags.
  • Social content — profile logotypes, story templates, campaign headers, announcement posts.
  • Packaging design — cosmetics tubes, drink cans, snack bags, gift boxes.
  • Poster and flyer design — raves, pop-ups, sneaker drops, student parties.

Features:

  • 2 styles: Regular, Outlined;
  • Outlined sits under Regular as a layer and produces an offset border;
  • single-case alphabet — uppercase and lowercase keys produce the same letterforms;
  • numerals, punctuation & symbols;
  • 102 glyphs in Regular, 103 in Outlined;
  • OTF format.
