Almendra — Free Chancery Calligraphy Font

Almendra sits between chancery and gothic hands, with pointed serifs and calligraphic stroke modulation that build a dense texture at small sizes and open out into detail when enlarged. It was drawn for long texts and children's literature, which is unusual for a face this decorative, and the four cuts carry real italics drawn separately rather than slanted copies.
