Hella Punk | Display Font

Hella Punk is a brush display font written at speed with a loaded tip, where the stroke fattens on the pull and splits open where the brush ran dry. The edges are ragged, the baseline wavers, and the letters crowd one another without ever joining. Nothing was cleaned up afterward, which is the entire proposition: this is flyer lettering made with whatever was on the table.

Practical uses:

• Branding and logos — skate brands, record labels, dive bars, streetwear, hot sauce.
• Poster and flyer design — gigs, club nights, protests, zine covers, skate videos.
• Merchandise — tees, hoodies, caps, patches, sticker packs.
• Packaging design — drink cans, snack bags, spray paint, sauce bottles.
• Social content — campaign headers, thumbnails, story templates, release posts.

Features:

• 2 styles: Regular and Slanted;
• uppercase & lowercase;
• numerals, punctuation & symbols;
• 52 alternate characters in a stylistic set, standard and discretionary ligatures, fractions, ordinals and superscripts;
• Western European language support;
• 289 glyphs per style.
