The Christmas Society. Vintage Christmas Line Art

Mid-century Christmas annuals were full of quick ink drawings, like a skating poodle, a swan in a bow, a whole village under one unbroken pen line. Nat_purple’s Christmas Society revives that hand with 100 vintage Christmas line art pieces, each drawn in fine single-weight ink with the loose, confident wobble of a 1950s illustrator.

The cast runs festive and a little eccentric: a poodle on skates, a long borzoi beside a tree, a ribboned swan ornament, candlesticks, baubles, snowflakes, and a snowy Alpine village. Wreaths, frames, borders, bows, stars, and flourishes round out the set for building a card or a title around.

Usage: holiday cards, gift wrap, festive invitations, menus, editorial headers, packaging, and shop signage.
