Dots Triple Halftone Text Effect

Here’s a budget three-plate press run pulled on grainy paperboard. The effect runs text, logos, and line art through a coarse three-color dot screen, splitting each mark into offset red, green, and blue channels so the edges drift a beat out of register.

We built it around a full control stack, so dot density, channel offset, and paper grain each move on their own layers. The treatment holds on both light and dark grounds — cream type on a near-black board, or black type dropped over cyan, yellow, and red halftone fields — and a Smart Object swaps any wordmark or logo into place.

Usage: streetwear graphics, gig posters, band merch, logo stamps, album covers, editorial titles, sticker packs, skate-brand identities, record-label marks, and retro brand systems.
