Glitch Break Effect

The glitch effect tears a photograph the way a corrupted signal tears a broadcast. RGB channels split and drift, horizontal slices slip out of register, and scanlines rake across the frame. Blocks of the image shear sideways into datamosh smears, and color separates into ghosts along every hard edge.

Drop an image into the smart object, and the break renders across it — displaced slices, chromatic split, and scanline noise on their own layers. The reach of the tearing and the width of the RGB offset are yours to push, from a light signal flutter to a fully shredded frame.
