iPhone Duo Mockups

About the product

The iPhone mockup set renders the iPhone Duo in both of its states — open across the 7.6-inch inner display, and closed on the 5.4-inch cover screen — on polished stone under one soft directional light. Four PSD files split those states across two metal finishes, chrome and nickel, at 5400x3600 px. Artwork goes into one Smart Object per file, and the stone under the device relights itself to match.

Details:

  • 4 high-quality PSD files;
  • open and folded body states;
  • chrome and nickel finishes;
  • 5400x3600 px, 72 dpi;
  • screen Smart Object in every file;
  • reflection redraws with the screen;
  • named and grouped layers.

A reflection that rebuilds itself

The reflection under the device took the longest to build. Most device scenes bake the glow on the surface into a flat image — here, the reflection is the same Smart Object as the screen. The design drops in once, and the stone picks up its color and brightness through a response layer that holds the grain and the surface falloff. We kept that response map separate from the glow, so a dark interface dims the stone and a bright one washes it without the texture disappearing.

Two body states, one layout

The open files show the unfolded panel across a landscape frame, with the polished titanium edge and the side controls catching the key light. The folded files turn the device upright on its hinge spine and put the cover screen forward. The two displays sit at 1.42:1 and 1.45:1, so an interface moves between the states with a small reflow instead of a redraw.

What is locked, and what is yours

The scene group holds materials, light, and shadow exactly as they were rendered. We recommend leaving those alone, because that is where the realism sits. Everything above it belongs to the design: the screen Smart Object, the transmission pass that keeps the glass reading as glass, and the highlight pass that survives any swap. Grading on top of the finished scene works without trouble.

FAQ

It is the iPhone Duo, the foldable Apple unveiled on 9 September 2026, with a 7.6-inch inner display that folds down to a 5.4-inch cover screen. Both screen Smart Objects match the shipping resolutions exactly: 1878x2670 px inside, 1398x2034 px on the cover. The set is our own render of the device, built in-house, and it is not an Apple asset.

Yes, and it is one Smart Object: the screen layer and the reflection layer point at the same placed object inside every file. Place the design, save the Smart Object, and the stone below the device redraws with it. The reflection group and the Stone response layer have to be visible for that to show.

Double-click the screen Smart Object and build to the canvas it opens at: 2670x1878 px in the open files, 1398x2034 px in the folded ones. Those are the device's own display resolutions, so an interface mocked up here lands at 1:1 with the hardware.

The scene group is a finished render; materials, shadows and falloff are baked into it. Grading over the top is safe; rebuilding the light means rebuilding the scene.

Yes. The layer stack is identical across open and folded, chrome and nickel, so a design moves between files without relearning the setup.

We recommend using the latest Creative Cloud version for full Smart Object support.
