Vintage Paper, Wraps, and Envelopes Textures
About the product
These are the surfaces that survive centuries — old leather book covers wearing hairline cracks from a century of opening, steely blue millboard flats with soft water marks at the corner, parchment gone amber at the fold. The collection draws from 17th-to-19th-century archival materials: bound journals, handwritten correspondence, linen wraps, kraft-like trade boards, and loose paper in tones that run from bare bone to deep oxblood. As a set of paper textures, it covers 153 individual backgrounds and 56 cut-out PNG objects — torn sheets, intact letters, wax-sealed envelopes, and folded wraps — photographed with enough surface detail to hold up as full-bleed backdrops or tight crop layers.
Stack them in Multiply or Overlay to age a clean illustration, use them as label backgrounds, drop the PNG envelopes and letter pieces into collage layouts, or build period-accurate editorial compositions. The palette runs neutral and muted — ivory, ochre, slate, denim blue, deep green, burgundy, pale pink — which means the set mixes across projects without fighting the design on top.
