Mono Riso Halftone Textures

Riso printing leaves its dot screen sitting right on the surface: ink pressed into the weave, some dots crisp, others broken where the pass ran dry. These textures scan the look in pure black and white, split across a light edition on pale fibrous stock and a dark edition on near-black paper. The dot scale runs from tight, even grids to coarse, open stipple, and a few sheets drift the rows into a soft diagonal moiré.

Usage : posters, album art, packaging, zine spreads, editorial illustration, and streetwear prints without pushing the color around. Drop one over a layout on Multiply or Overlay to pull the dot grain onto artwork, invert to a light screen on a dark background, or mask the pattern back to keep type sharp.
