This Refund Policy applies to Pixelbuddha paid memberships, lifetime memberships, and one-time purchases of individual digital items. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.

General Refund Principle

Pixelbuddha products are digital. Membership access, downloads, and item files are delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned.

For that reason, we usually approve refunds when the payment was accidental, duplicate, or unused. We may decline a refund when our records show that the relevant digital access has already been used, especially where files were downloaded or re-downloaded after the payment being refunded.

You may cancel a recurring membership before the next renewal date to stop future renewal charges.

For membership payments, including Plus and Pro plans, we will usually approve a refund for the current billing period if all of the following are true:

  1. you contact us within 30 days of the payment;
  2. the request relates to the current billing period, not an older billing period; and
  3. your account has not made premium downloads or premium re-downloads after that payment.

For accidental or unintended renewals, this means we look at activity after the renewal charge. Previous valid downloads from earlier paid periods do not automatically prevent a refund for a later unused renewal.

However, if a customer says a recurring payment was unintentional, but our records show premium downloads or re-downloads after that renewal charge, we will generally not refund that payment.

Example: if a membership renews on March 1 and the account downloads premium files on March 2 or later during that billing period, the March 1 renewal is generally not refundable as an “unintentional” renewal.

We generally do not provide partial or prorated refunds for membership periods that have been used.

Lifetime Membership Refunds

Lifetime memberships are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically.

We may refund a lifetime membership within 30 days of purchase if the account has not used the lifetime membership to download or re-download premium resources.

Once a lifetime membership has been used to access premium resources, it is generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where we determine there was a duplicate payment, billing error, or other exceptional issue.

One-Time Digital Item Purchases

For individual item purchases outside a membership, we will usually approve a refund within 30 days of purchase if the item has not been downloaded.

If the item has already been downloaded, we may still approve a refund in these cases:

  1. Duplicate purchase — you accidentally purchased the same item or same license more than once.
  2. Wrong item, format, or license purchased by mistake — you contact us promptly, and where relevant, purchase the correct item or license so we can refund the mistaken purchase.
  3. Technical issue — the item has a reproducible technical issue that prevents normal use as described, and we cannot reasonably fix or replace the files.
  4. Material misrepresentation — the delivered files are materially different from the item description, preview, or stated contents.
  5. Billing error or unauthorized charge — the payment was duplicated, processed incorrectly, or appears unauthorized after review.

We usually cannot refund a downloaded one-time item for the following reasons:

  1. you changed your mind;
  2. you no longer need the item;
  3. you found another item you prefer;
  4. you do not have the required software, where the product page stated the required software or file format;
  5. you do not have enough experience to use or edit the item;
  6. the item does not match a subjective expectation of style or quality, but matches the product page;
  7. your internet connection, device, or local setup prevents downloading or opening files;
  8. you cannot provide enough information for us to verify a claimed issue;
  9. the item has already been used, shared, redistributed, resold, sublicensed, or otherwise used in a way that conflicts with the applicable license.

Effect of an Approved Refund

If we approve a refund for a membership payment, your membership access for the refunded period may be canceled or adjusted.

If we approve a refund for a one-time digital item purchase, the license connected to that refunded purchase is canceled. You must stop using the refunded item, delete any downloaded files, and not use the item in future personal, client, commercial, or public work.

Refunds do not rewrite valid download history from other non-refunded purchases or membership periods. Rights already validly granted through prior recorded download or re-download events remain governed by the applicable Pixelbuddha license terms for those events.

Abuse and Exploitation

We try not to make refunds difficult. At the same time, we may decline refund requests that appear abusive or exploitative.

This includes, for example:

  1. using a membership to download premium resources and then requesting a refund for the same billing period;
  2. downloading a one-time item and then requesting a refund because it is no longer needed;
  3. repeated refund requests across multiple purchases or billing periods;
  4. automated downloading, account sharing, redistribution, resale, sublicensing, or other license violations;
  5. requests that conflict with our download history, billing records, or fraud-prevention records.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact us at info@pixelbuddha.net before opening a chargeback or payment-provider dispute. We are usually able to resolve payment issues faster by email.

If a chargeback or payment-provider dispute is opened, we may need to pause access to the related account, membership, downloads, or order while the payment provider reviews the dispute. Once a dispute is opened, we may also be unable to issue a direct refund until the dispute process is completed.

How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are usually sent back to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Payment providers, banks, card issuers, and PayPal may need additional time to process the refund. Pixelbuddha does not control currency conversion rates, bank fees, international payment fees, or other charges applied by third parties.
