Bella Vista — Vintage Mediterranean Display

Bella Vista grew out of hand-painted seaside signage — lettering brushed straight onto trattoria windows and faded by years of Mediterranean sun. It's a bold all-caps display font with condensed proportions, rounded terminals, and the slightly uneven edges of a sign painter working fast. The heavy weight and tight spacing lock a headline together as type squeezed onto a harbor-front board.

The font is built to be read across a piazza. The character set reaches well past English, with accents for French, Italian, Spanish, German, and the Nordic languages, plus the punctuation and currency marks a working menu or label actually needs.
