Baeiros is a blackletter font family rooted in the angular geometry of Fraktur, tightened into a condensed display construction with sharp wedge terminals and extreme vertical stroke contrast. The three surface variants — clean Regular, eroded Rough, and ink-saturated Texture — each come with an oblique italic, giving the family six distinct voices that can coexist in a single layout without breaking visual register.
The letterforms hold their authority at headline scale: narrow proportions stack the type into tight columns, and the high-contrast strokes read with the same graphic weight as hand-screened concert posters or hand-cut zine layouts.
